Madison Scott, a young Canadian woman, captivated the public’s attention and touched the hearts of many when she mysteriously vanished on May 28, 2011, from Hogsback Lake near Vanderhoof, a small town in British Columbia. Her strange disappearance at the age of 20 sent shockwaves through the community, leaving her family and friends desperate for answers.
Madison was at a party with friends at the lake, and she disappeared without a trace from this party while multiple people were in the area. Despite all the people around, no one has come forward (as far as what has been released to the public)with information on what happened to the young girl.
An extensive search and rescue operation was launched in the wake of Madison's disappearance. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, yet no substantial leads emerged. The investigation seemed to hit a standstill, and frustration mounted among those who longed for answers. Madison’s family, refusing to give up hope, spearheaded public awareness campaigns, organized vigils, and tirelessly appealed to the public for any information that could bring their beloved daughter and friend back home.
Throughout the years that followed, the case of Madison Scott never faded from the collective memory of the community.
