A string of murders occurred in Vancouver between 1965 and 1988, but at the time, people didn’t even realize that they were murders. Gilbert Paul Jordan killed between 8 and 10 women during this time, but rather than a more “traditional” method of killing, Gilbert Paul Jordan, nicknamed “The Boozing Barber”, murdered with alcohol.
Born in Vancouver on December 12, 1931, Gilbert was an alcoholic and high school drop out by the age of 16. By 21, he had already been convicted of theft, assault, car theft, and possession of heroin.
